Why do eyeglasses cost so much?
Eyeglasses are a complex optical device that is manufactured with high-precision equipment. Often expensive materials are used for the glasses. All of this explains why eyeglasses can be expensive.
What should you do before buying glasses?
Let's look at what to look for when buying eyeglasses. The first is, of course, quality. The second is the choice of lenses of glasses. Here we focus attention on the material: they can be either glass or plastic. The third is the choice of frames.
What's the difference between expensive glasses and cheap glasses for vision?
The quality and accordingly the price of the lens depends on the presence of coatings on the lenses. The higher the price, the more coatings on the lens. Coatings make our vision more comfortable. Lens manufacturers do not stand still and improve the quality of lenses.
How do I know which glasses fit my face?
It's best if the width of the frame is equal to or slightly larger than the widest part of your face. The upper line of the frames should coincide with the line of eyebrows. Smooth shapes of glasses will emphasize rounded curves of the face. To emphasize high cheekbones choose the "butterfly" or "cat-eye" glasses.
Where can I see better with glasses or contact lenses?
With lenses, you can see better, so it turns out that extra obstacles don't distort the image. Lenses don't shed dust, don't catch glare from the sun and don't distort peripheral vision-no matter where we look, the image stays sharp.

The doctor is great obviously, and so is the doctor I see before the main one. This review is honestly for Lynn, who is the one who helps pick out what lenses are the best option for you, and what pair of frames to get! She was so incredibly helpful, and bared with me while I tried on a million different frames. She then helped me decide on which one was the best! She then made sure I got enough protection for my astigmatism, which is just awful driving at night. She’s also super sweet, and fun to chit chat with. Lynn was also the one who helped me last year find my forever frames when I broke my glasses! She couldn’t find the frames on the website but made sure to call the company to see if they still had them (since the frames are from 2016). They did! She ordered them for me and called me as soon as they came in! I wanted the same frame (aside from the more “professional” ones she was ordering for me) with my updated script, for me to have when I’m not at work. She’s calling the other company again to see if they still have the frames! All to make sure that when I send my current ride or die frames in, IF they get broken some how during lens swap process, that I have the same frame on back up! She is seriously a delight and honestly makes the whole experience more personal! 5+ stars for Lynn!

This review is based on purchasing frames only-I have no experience with their doctors or the exam process. I came in to pick out frames-after visiting 3 other places, and found the staff to be extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable on their products. One young lady helped me right away and respected that I wanted to try on ALL the glasses and then get her assistance for narrowing down to a single frame. Between her and Holly, I was able to find a perfect pair of glasses-with a super quick turnaround time! I got my glasses super quick despite the holiday! I will be back for sunglasses! Thank you for the wonderful customer service and experience.

Lake Country Eye Care is well run and professional. My appointment was easy to schedule and the office visit ran on time. Dr. Dentz clearly explained my eye exam and the reasons for her recommendations. The staff quickly solved a health insurance issue. Thanks to Dr. Dentz and her staff, I have comfortable contact lens and clear vision.

Dr. Dentz has been providing my eye care for over 15 years. She is professional, caring and patient in all aspects of her practice. My wife and I moved to Florida 4 years ago and switched to Florida health care professionals except for eye care. I continue to schedule my eye care appointments with Dr. Dentz when we come back to Wisconsin to visit. The thought of trying to find someone of her caliber in Florida does not appeal to me.

Dr. Dentz used to operate along with Dr. Seifert in another location in Hartland and after he retired, she moved the clinic to this new location. The facility is beautiful and easy to get to, with ample parking in front. Our whole family has seen Dr. Dentz and found her to be on time and very professional.
