Why do eyeglasses cost so much?
Eyeglasses are a complex optical device that is manufactured with high-precision equipment. Often expensive materials are used for the glasses. All of this explains why eyeglasses can be expensive.
What should you do before buying glasses?
Let's look at what to look for when buying eyeglasses. The first is, of course, quality. The second is the choice of lenses of glasses. Here we focus attention on the material: they can be either glass or plastic. The third is the choice of frames.
What's the difference between expensive glasses and cheap glasses for vision?
The quality and accordingly the price of the lens depends on the presence of coatings on the lenses. The higher the price, the more coatings on the lens. Coatings make our vision more comfortable. Lens manufacturers do not stand still and improve the quality of lenses.
How do I know which glasses fit my face?
It's best if the width of the frame is equal to or slightly larger than the widest part of your face. The upper line of the frames should coincide with the line of eyebrows. Smooth shapes of glasses will emphasize rounded curves of the face. To emphasize high cheekbones choose the "butterfly" or "cat-eye" glasses.
Where can I see better with glasses or contact lenses?
With lenses, you can see better, so it turns out that extra obstacles don't distort the image. Lenses don't shed dust, don't catch glare from the sun and don't distort peripheral vision-no matter where we look, the image stays sharp.

Girlfriend waited several months to get her glasses. She kept getting excuses why they were not ready. I use a different eye care provider, and my glasses take ten days to come in. Pick a different provider if you actually want to see.

Jacquelyn is amazing! Patient and knows her stuff. She picked out 4 pair of glasses for me within 5 minutes and I liked them all! The last time I tried on glasses it took me over 20 minutes and I didn't really like them as much. You won't be disappointed working with her!

Dr Vrabec and his staff were all outstanding. I had lasik done and had 20/20 vision the next day. Everyone was extremely professional and informative. I’d absolutely recommend Valley Eye over any other competitor.

This business is not a place if you want glasses within six months... I usually do not give reviews but in this case..here we go! First, the exam was acceptable... I was told that my new glasses will be ready in two weeks, but they forgot to send out my prescription...please wait another two weeks! Then four weeks later...hey hey, they were finally complete... After trying to adjust to the new ones for two weeks, I could not take the double vision and horrible half of the lens being blurry... So they looked at them and found there was definitely something wrong...wait two weeks! Three weeks later...I called them and naturally they don't answer their phone when I call... Five minutes later, regional manager calls from Milwaukee and said "we had to send your glasses to California...wait two weeks!" Now a week later, the Appleton office naturally does not answer their phone and frustration is about to be complete... 'THE LAB' does not know what they are doing! Save yourself frustration and go somewhere else!
