Contact lenses are small lenses that are in "contact" with your eyes. They are designed to correct refractive errors and keep your eyes healthy. The lenses are in the tear film on the cornea. Modern contact lenses are small lenses worn over the cornea of the eye. Modern contact lenses whether soft or hard. Most people wear soft contact lenses, but it wasn't that long ago that lenses were made of glass. Colored contact lenses can make your eyes more intense or completely change the color of your eyes, and costume contact lenses can help create special effects seen on the big screen.
What is the difference between glasses and contact lenses?
Unlike glasses, contact lenses do not limit the field of vision. With glasses, the field of vision is limited, causing people to have to turn their head to see something from the side.
Can I sleep in contact lenses?
Modern soft contact lenses allow enough oxygen to the eye, but when you sleep, your eyes are closed and, therefore, the access of oxygen to them is reduced.
What are the harms of contact lenses?
Prolonged contact lens wear causes the cornea to thin (keratocytes lose their ability to synthesize new tissue). This can happen even with proper lens wear 3-5 years after use. In the case of reaction to hypoxia (lack of oxygen), the main complication is the formation of new blood vessels.

Rege Kostley | Rating: 1 | Walmart Vision & Glasses
Poor service, I brought my eye glass prescription with me to have new sunglasses made and needed new frames. the technician measured me for frames. when I returned to pick up my new glasses, the lenses were made perfect, however, the frames were too long and went about 2 inches past my ear, she tried several times to adjust them and told me to come back if they didn't fit right. I returned several more times and was told there was nothing they could do. I'm stuck with a $300 pair of sunglasses that don't fit. I'm going to go to another Walmart vision center for help.
Stacey Crain | Rating: 5 | Dr. Tonya Eady, OD, PC
This was my first visit to Dr. Eady' s office. My husband and I needed the annual eye exam. I had met Dr. Eady at my job a few weeks earlier. We spoke about my glasses and her passion for eye care was undeniable. In the market for a closer office I made apt. For us. We went and are so happy we did. The staff was friendly helpful and professional. Dr. Eady gave me some eye care advice that will be very helpful to me with my allergies. We ordered our glasses and will be seeing clearer very soon! We absolutely recommend Dr. Eady and her staff!

Dr. Miller is the one doctor I actually Look forward to seeing every year for my annual checkup. The staff are thorough, timely and patient. Dr. Miller always takes the time to review and explain his findings and he is fully engaged in my care.
