Eye exams is a procedure to evaluate the functions of the eye that provide normal vision. Namely, how the size, shape, and color of objects are perceived, as well as their location relative to each other. Eye exams are necessary for the timely detection of abnormalities and successful correction. Eye exams include accurate determination of the patient's visual acuity and refraction, intraocular pressure measurements, microscopic examination of the eye (biomicroscopy), pachymetry (corneal thickness measurement), echobiometry (eye length determination), ultrasound eye examination (B-scan), computer keratotopography and thorough retinal (eye fundus) examination with a wide pupil, tear production level determination and detailed visual field examination of the patient. Various methods are used to test vision, the results of which allow the doctor to identify abnormalities and prescribe a correction.

I love Irving Eye Care. For the past 11 years Dr. Kardatzki has been checking my vision and doing a great job. The office is always clean and well organized and the staff is very attentive. Thank you Irving Eye Care for keeping my eyes healthy.

New to town and needed a comprehensive exam for first time glasses. They were timely, professional, friendly and overall I was very satisfied my visit. I’ll definitely be going back for my eye care needs.

Steve Abraham  |  Rating: 1  |  Target Optical

If I could give Target optical a 0 star I would. Target’s optical lab messed up on my glass prescriptions three time. I repeatedly had to go my optometrist to check if the glasses matched with my prescription, since Target optical employees would lie again and again that it matched my prescription. I lost time and used up an entire months of contacts supplies due to target optical lab incompetence. The glasses would bring strain to my eyes since it was the incorrect prescription. I also wanted to mention the names of two employee, Crystina who gave me awful attitude for returning glasses with the incorrect prescription as well as Sonya who lied to me multiple times for saying the glasses matched my prescription. I went to Pearle Vision right after and they gave me a cheaper price with better customer services. I’ve also attached a picture below of how incorrect the glasses target optical gave me. I went to my optometrist and they found the axis to be a 3 on the right side when it should be 179! This was there third remake as well! Never going back again and I wouldn’t recommend target optical to anyone!
