Eye exams is a procedure to evaluate the functions of the eye that provide normal vision. Namely, how the size, shape, and color of objects are perceived, as well as their location relative to each other. Eye exams are necessary for the timely detection of abnormalities and successful correction. Eye exams include accurate determination of the patient's visual acuity and refraction, intraocular pressure measurements, microscopic examination of the eye (biomicroscopy), pachymetry (corneal thickness measurement), echobiometry (eye length determination), ultrasound eye examination (B-scan), computer keratotopography and thorough retinal (eye fundus) examination with a wide pupil, tear production level determination and detailed visual field examination of the patient. Various methods are used to test vision, the results of which allow the doctor to identify abnormalities and prescribe a correction.

Love Dr Ramirez but his office staff is horrible. Everytime I make an appt they tell me they have other date and times available I'll switch it then get an email they can't see me. But I've had other people make appts right after me and they accept that appt ...go figure

John Mincey  |  Rating: 5  |  Vision Boutique/ Dr. Ashley Setterberg

Dr. Setterberg and the staff at Vision Boutique are absolutely amazing. Dr Setterberg takes her time to explain everything and is truly a kind and caring individual. Couldn't ask for a better doctor!

Angela Chamberlain  |  Rating: 5  |  Eyemart Express

I had gone into the calallen eyemart express about a week before and the girl that helped me out gave me three different quotes on different ways I could get my glasses done. Came back about 10 days later and they had my frame still in stock she went back and got my lenses checked what she needed to check in my eyes and told me that they'd be done in about an hour. I was pleasantly surprised to get a text about a half hour later telling me both of my glasses were done and I could come get them! You can't ask for better service than that, they were very professional the entire time. I will definitely go back for my next set of glasses.
