Eye exams is a procedure to evaluate the functions of the eye that provide normal vision. Namely, how the size, shape, and color of objects are perceived, as well as their location relative to each other. Eye exams are necessary for the timely detection of abnormalities and successful correction. Eye exams include accurate determination of the patient's visual acuity and refraction, intraocular pressure measurements, microscopic examination of the eye (biomicroscopy), pachymetry (corneal thickness measurement), echobiometry (eye length determination), ultrasound eye examination (B-scan), computer keratotopography and thorough retinal (eye fundus) examination with a wide pupil, tear production level determination and detailed visual field examination of the patient. Various methods are used to test vision, the results of which allow the doctor to identify abnormalities and prescribe a correction.

Dr. Carr was really great and helped me pick out a new brand of contacts that were much better for my eyes. The tech Johanna also pick out the perfect pair of glasses for me! I was very pleased with my experience there! Definitely recommend!

This was the most professional experience with an vision specialist I’ve had. They treated everything with the utmost care every step of the way, they are very thorough not to mentioned they were very very friendly. My appt was quick and easy- well run operation!

Extremely disappointing customer experience. Glasses arrived and I couldn't see a thing. Upon calling customer service to cancel, it was determined my prescription was incorrectly entered by the sales representative at the store (the store employees are way too casual and still cannot figure out how someone could mis-enter the prescription and also supposedly double checked her own work). The call center employee at Warby Parker talked me into not cancelling my order and assured that the corrected lens and glasses would arrive within one week. Upon checking today, it will be close to two weeks, making the whole experience close to three weeks. Assumption is that business must be doing really well since it didn't matter to meet customer expectations .. that customer service culture will one day catch up with the company. Just make sure that the tech at the store really really double checks their work when placing an order. Time to go upstairs to See Eyewear for some really cool looking frames.
