I hadn’t had my eyes checked since I moved to Portland a little over 4 years ago. I knew it was time for some new eyeglasses and to actually use my vision insurance. I was able to make an appointment online, they offer text confirmation, which is really nice for me. They’re also available on the weekends. My appointment went super smooth and the staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The provider who saw me gave me a lot of info I had never heard before and I even found out I have a freckle on my eye (so cool). I got my prescription and picked out some new glasses with the help of two wonderful women, who also helped me take measurements. So glad I chose Myoptic!
Dr. To is a wonderful and expert doctor! I came to her for a second opinion and was so relieved to find such a trustworthy, quality, and thorough doctor. She also took the time to help me understand everything, was patient, transparent, and let me make my own informed choices. Can't recommend her enough. The staff and MyOptic are also very proficient and helpful in helping you find frames. They are up front about their insurance costs and aren't pressuring salespeople when it comes to frames, which is so nice, because glasses are such a big decision.
From the front office staff to Dr. Katie Ross, Myoptic Sellwood is a breathe of fresh air! Dr. Katie was very thorough, patient, and compassionate and took her time to address all of my needs. It is obvious that everyone in this office LOVES their work and caring for their clients. AND, no eye puff! I'm happy and relieved to have found this optometry practice having just moved to Portland.
