Relatively easy to get an appointment and they limit the amount of patients at a given time. I also saw plenty of air filters, plastic shields and masks. Dr. Snider was helpful and more than willing to answer any question. The retina Photo is nice for tracking long term eye health but not sure if it will provide enough of a benefit to justify the $25 additional charge. Just as important as the doctor is the staff and this is where I think they could use improvement at least if you are getting glasses. As another review mentioned they did not track where your eye is relative to the lens. When I received the glasses the staff stood 6-10 ft away and seemed to hope I would take them as is... if you have ever gotten glasses you know they always require some adjustment so this was odd. After some discussion she reluctantly edged closer and acknowledged that they needed some adjustment. She took the glasses and went into the back room to make the adjustment... normally they will make the adjustment right in front of you so they can quickly tweak it, but whether it was due to the concern with Covid or not she made all adjustments in the back room. After several adjustments she said it looked good, however I could clearly see that the nose pads did not sit the same on my nose, but she was insistent that they did... I asked her to adjust it again anwyay... at some point she claimed that the nose arms were different lengths and that is why they were not sitting the same, which is really odd to say and not true... anyway if you enjoy awkward office space sort of interaction when you have your glasses fitted you might like the experience here, however most will probably prefer someone more experienced. On a last note, I asked about sunglasses and the cost given I have two different insurances. She said that insurance policies vary on how much they cover prescription sunglasses.... Most places will run the numbers, but she really did not seem interested, so I asked if she could run the numbers and let me know which insurance might be better.... with some reluctance she said she would let me know. In relatively short order she did send me the cost, but only of one of my insurance providers... at this point I feel that it might be better to find another eye doctor rather than keep going back and forth with the staff, which is a shame as Dr. Snider seemed like a pretty good doctor.

Dr. Snider is fantastic! Her level of care and concern is so refreshing. I recently had to go see her urgently as I was sure I had something in my eye. Dr. Snider assured me there was nothing in my eye and that I was suffering from dry eye. Honestly, I didn't believe her but I listened to the advice. She prescribed drops and an eye wash. Much to my delight she was 100% correct (of course)! My symptoms began improving later that day and my eyes have felt great ever since. Go see her - you deserve a Dr. this good.

I have been going to Macadam Vision since I was 6 years old. In recent years, Dr. Snider took over. She is amazing. I love how passionate she is about what she does. You can’t help but suddenly feel interested in all optometry related things while in her office. She is eager to answer any and all questions. It’s obvious that she loves what she does. I feel like I am in good hands and can call her if I ever need anything. She has made that clear.
