Hawthorne Vision Center

I've never gone to this place before and was curious to check it out. I called in the morning to ask some questions regarding getting new glasses with my new insurance and the gentleman helping me was really awesome and helpful. Insurance can be a little daunting and he was really patient with me. I made an appointment to get an eye exam just in case my prescription changed. However, I called back in the afternoon with a couple more questions and spoke with Christie. She kept cutting me off, her tone was condescending, and she made me feel like I was stupid for not understanding the insurance immediately and asking questions. She asked if I had anymore questions and I said no. She immediately responded with "okay bye". After that, I didn't even feel comfortable going in so I called to cancel my appointment. I also wanted to get the first gentleman's name so I could shout him out and leave a better review but the woman on the phone, Nina (?) laughed at me.

I broke my glasses right before leaving for a 9 day camping trip. HVC was open on a Saturday morning and I'm so glad I found them! They fixed my glasses quickly and expertly, adjusted them for me, and handed them back with a warm smile.

I had a great experience here earlier this year. I saw Dr. M and he was efficient, knowledgeable, and kind. The opticians were incredibly helpful picking out frames. I have never been happier with glasses than with the ones that they helped me pick out. Months later, they still fit well and look great.
