I have been going to this place for almost 20 years. I am happy with the eye doctor I see, but absolutely unhappy with one of the customer services clerks, David. He acts like he is friendly, but deep down, he is impolite and inflexible. Not sure why he is in customer service. Recently, I discussed with David about a $60 charge they were trying to add on an eye exam for my wife's contact lenses. Apparently the charge was a "training fee" to show my wife how to wear contact lenses. I knew everything at this place is expensive but $60 for just showing her how to wear contact lenses sounded too much. I also told David that I wear contact lenses myself and it would be easier if I teach her how to do it mainly because English is not our first language. When I told David we want to decline the service for that reason, he only kept saying the service is required and we have to pay. Otherwise, they will NOT even write us the prescription for contact lenses despite the fact that they will still charge us for the eye exam. That's their "policy". What David does not understand is that no one clearly explained about the "policy" prior to the appointment. Also David does not try to understand their training would not help much and be a waste of money when a patient is not fluent in English. I requested to receive a call back from the office manager regarding this matter. Will update my review once I speak with her/him.
The doctors here are amazing and James in Eyewear was the best. He got me to try styles and shapes of glasses that I hadn't before and I am so glad he did. He also fitted my son who has always been unhappy with his glasses and he is thrilled with his new glasses. Highly recommend and ask for James!
Dr. Heidi is the Best. I have been wearing glasses for many years none of contact lens prescribed by other providers did not give me comfort. And Dr. Heidi fixed me up in ten minutes. She thoroughly checked my eye sight & gave contacts lens (during the initial appointment itself) and they fit perfectly, no discomfort, blurriness with far, near vision. She is the best eye doctor. no further folks.
