Why do eyeglasses cost so much?
Eyeglasses are a complex optical device that is manufactured with high-precision equipment. Often expensive materials are used for the glasses. All of this explains why eyeglasses can be expensive.
What should you do before buying glasses?
Let's look at what to look for when buying eyeglasses. The first is, of course, quality. The second is the choice of lenses of glasses. Here we focus attention on the material: they can be either glass or plastic. The third is the choice of frames.
What's the difference between expensive glasses and cheap glasses for vision?
The quality and accordingly the price of the lens depends on the presence of coatings on the lenses. The higher the price, the more coatings on the lens. Coatings make our vision more comfortable. Lens manufacturers do not stand still and improve the quality of lenses.
How do I know which glasses fit my face?
It's best if the width of the frame is equal to or slightly larger than the widest part of your face. The upper line of the frames should coincide with the line of eyebrows. Smooth shapes of glasses will emphasize rounded curves of the face. To emphasize high cheekbones choose the "butterfly" or "cat-eye" glasses.
Where can I see better with glasses or contact lenses?
With lenses, you can see better, so it turns out that extra obstacles don't distort the image. Lenses don't shed dust, don't catch glare from the sun and don't distort peripheral vision-no matter where we look, the image stays sharp.

Dr. Goldstein is a wonderful provider. She was very professional and caring. She paid attention to detail and took time to listen and give great care. Amanda at the desk was very sweet as well. I had a challenge with my glasses and they made it right. I recommend the clinic.

My family tried this provider after changing vision insurance last summer. It was terribly disappointing. We found the office uninviting and the staff unfriendly. When we had concerns after the visit we frequently reached voicemail and calls were never returned in a timely manner. After having paid all fees at the time of the visit we received a bill over 6 months later that they refused to help us resolve. Look elsewhere for your Eyecare.

Very disorganized and inefficient. We scheduled eye exams for our two kids. We live 40 miles away. They cancelled our appointments 3 times either the day before or the day of the exam. One child was fitted for contacts and they were not correct. It was a hassle to get a new appointment; place would not return calls for weeks. Several messages left never to be returned. Finally got a new appointment to be refitted. Once we determined these contacts were correct it several phone calls / messages/ emails trying to get the prescription emailed to us. When we finally get ahold of them, they send the incorrect (first fitting) prescription even though the messages / emails clearly stated we needed the second fitting. Meanwhile the sample contacts have been exhausted. I will never be returning here…way too much hassles / incompetence for something that should be simple.

Unbelievable. You would think you're bothering them at home the way they react to request for help. The techs and front line staff (basically everyone who is not the doctor) was rude and dismissive. On top of all that, they didn't order the correct prescription and then refused to rush the order or discount my next pair.
