Eye exams is a procedure to evaluate the functions of the eye that provide normal vision. Namely, how the size, shape, and color of objects are perceived, as well as their location relative to each other. Eye exams are necessary for the timely detection of abnormalities and successful correction. Eye exams include accurate determination of the patient's visual acuity and refraction, intraocular pressure measurements, microscopic examination of the eye (biomicroscopy), pachymetry (corneal thickness measurement), echobiometry (eye length determination), ultrasound eye examination (B-scan), computer keratotopography and thorough retinal (eye fundus) examination with a wide pupil, tear production level determination and detailed visual field examination of the patient. Various methods are used to test vision, the results of which allow the doctor to identify abnormalities and prescribe a correction.

The staff at this location are amazing! Thank you to Nehemias for being honest, breaking down the cost and helping me find the right pair of glasses. I wasn’t able to catch the woman’s name who checked me in and helped jumpstart my eye exam but she was very nice. Thank you. Dr. Andrews is very knowledgeable and had a lot of patience when it came to sharing his knowledge. This was my first time getting my eyes checked as an adult and he broke everything down for me. Thank you. Overall great experience and I was able to book my appointment and get in on the same day.

Terrible experience. This is my son’s first time prescription, we were told the prescription will be filled in 2-3 weeks. 3 weeks passed but No response. When we try reaching, no one answered the calls or bothered to return my voice mails. I sent an email checking for status, finally I was told they have some issues with phones and that they don’t have any updates. Week 4 and 5 passed with no update. We are on week 6, no progress but were finally told they don’t have update and that they don’t have any control once the prescription reaches lab. I don’t understand why there is no accountability taken and why should they work with such labs who can’t fulfill the orders on time? I should now find a new place and wait for 2-3 more weeks for my son’s glasses.

My only complaint was that the last time I called for an appointment for exams for me and two of my kids, they were over a month and a half out. They used to get us in quickly, but after covid, the wait times became longer. Other than that, the eye doctor we saw was great and the exams for all three of us took less than an hour. The staff that helped us pick out our glasses were really helpful. They were also patient with my kids, so I appreciated that! Definitely recommend!
