Eye exams is a procedure to evaluate the functions of the eye that provide normal vision. Namely, how the size, shape, and color of objects are perceived, as well as their location relative to each other. Eye exams are necessary for the timely detection of abnormalities and successful correction. Eye exams include accurate determination of the patient's visual acuity and refraction, intraocular pressure measurements, microscopic examination of the eye (biomicroscopy), pachymetry (corneal thickness measurement), echobiometry (eye length determination), ultrasound eye examination (B-scan), computer keratotopography and thorough retinal (eye fundus) examination with a wide pupil, tear production level determination and detailed visual field examination of the patient. Various methods are used to test vision, the results of which allow the doctor to identify abnormalities and prescribe a correction.

As usual, I had an excellent visit with Dr. Elliot and his staff. I was having symptoms that concerned me and an appointment was made for the morning shortly after I called. Dr. Elliot is so genuine, patient and skilled. Luckily, my eye is fine and I left quite relieved and happy, to say the least. Also, I left with an adorable new pair of sunglasses, assisted by Courtney.

I DEFINITELY WON'T BE BACK! GUESS SOME PEOPLE DON'T MATTER! Never acknowledged me. I walked around the store several times. I walked in planning to purchase another pair of glasses. There were 3 workers only 1 had a customer. No one else in the store. When I first came in 1 person was finishing up with a customer and they were done shortly after. Harping over how hard that transaction was. Now at this point I was about to leave I walked to the counter and asked a question. The 2 workers with NO customers still didn't try to either act as if I even existed or attempt to show me anything else they just answered the question with their heads kinda down and proceeded to do what they were doing. After that exchange I just felt the need to just leave and take my business elsewhere.
