Eyeglasses are the simplest optical device designed to correct vision; there are also glasses to protect the eyes from various factors (safety glasses). Glasses consist of frames and lenses. Glasses frames are made of plastic, metal and combined. They can be symmetrical, asymmetrical, round, with or without rims and with both rigid and flexible earpieces.
Correcting glasses are a medical optical device for correcting various visual impairments. They are used for correction of refractive error, accommodation disorders and for correction of eye muscular system defects. In cases when ordinary eyeglasses don't give the desired effect special eyeglasses are used. They include telescopic, prismatic, hemianopic glasses as well as magnifying glasses with illuminators.

What's better for vision - glasses or lenses?
Contact lenses, unlike glasses, follow the curvature of your eye to provide a wider field of vision and prevent significant visual distortion or interference of any kind.
What are polarizing glasses?
Polarizing glasses are glasses with lenses that have a polarizing filter (polarized). The main difference between polarized glasses and sunglasses is the very film/film which blocks the reflected, aka horizontal, light (glare) but lets in the vertical rays which are responsible for color and contrast.

We brought our 12yr old in with a pair of broken frames; we’d bought the lenses 5 months ago. We walked in about 4pm and left with new glasses about 25 minutes later. Mike Howard, the Store Market Manager assisted us. He immediately knew which new frames would fit her lenses. He found her the *perfect* pair (she wanted clear frames), and they just happened to be Michael Kors brand - which is also what she wanted. With our vision insurance, we walked out paying very little, plus a 12 month warranty. The service was incredible…flawless and insanely easy. We were very impressed. The store is nicely arranged and the computer wall made finding frames super easy. Thank you so much, Mike. You’re the best!

I had the same experience as several others. Definitely will not be going back & i'm now worried I made a horrible horrible mistake going in the first place & that I should have listened to my gut. The doctor was extremely cold, & from reading the comments, I definitely see it being a race issue. The "Doc." rushed through my appt. & casually threw out I was probably going blind... didn't explain much of anything else except that I would need to purchase a new pair of glasses, while escorting me out to the cashier to pay. I told them I wasnt buying anything and that i would prefer an explanation about my care, diagnosis treatment. They showed zero concern. What's worse, I had no problems seeing in the day b4 this, now i am having all kinds of issues. With my pupils dialated, I couldn't see anything b4 I left my appointment & no one bothered to check to see if I was ok to drive...& I was not...by the grace of God I made it home. There were two nurses who did their best to clean up the mess & assure me that I was in good care & would be ok...but I knew better. It's been maybe a month an they are calling, not about my eye care, but asking for $20 for something I didn't need or ask for that they charged me forand was not covered by my insurance. I would suggest especially WOC, to stay far away. Btw, had no issue with docs not wearing mask, although now I'm wondering why I was forced to... I just hope I didn't do irreparable damage coming here.

I have been going to Battleground Eye for around 20 years. It is one of my favorite medical offices. Staff is amazing and personable always trying their best to get you in and ask you about your family. Dr Scott always has the best and most recent technology to keep your eyes healthy and diagnose issues early. He also has one of the best bed side manners of any Dr I see. If you want the best eye care, need glasses, and a staff that hands down goes out of their way Battleground Eye Care is the place for you! Thank you Dr Scott and Staff!
