Why do eyeglasses cost so much?
Eyeglasses are a complex optical device that is manufactured with high-precision equipment. Often expensive materials are used for the glasses. All of this explains why eyeglasses can be expensive.
What should you do before buying glasses?
Let's look at what to look for when buying eyeglasses. The first is, of course, quality. The second is the choice of lenses of glasses. Here we focus attention on the material: they can be either glass or plastic. The third is the choice of frames.
What's the difference between expensive glasses and cheap glasses for vision?
The quality and accordingly the price of the lens depends on the presence of coatings on the lenses. The higher the price, the more coatings on the lens. Coatings make our vision more comfortable. Lens manufacturers do not stand still and improve the quality of lenses.
How do I know which glasses fit my face?
It's best if the width of the frame is equal to or slightly larger than the widest part of your face. The upper line of the frames should coincide with the line of eyebrows. Smooth shapes of glasses will emphasize rounded curves of the face. To emphasize high cheekbones choose the "butterfly" or "cat-eye" glasses.
Where can I see better with glasses or contact lenses?
With lenses, you can see better, so it turns out that extra obstacles don't distort the image. Lenses don't shed dust, don't catch glare from the sun and don't distort peripheral vision-no matter where we look, the image stays sharp.

Lonnie Oliver | Rating: 1 | Triad Eye Associates
Went to triad eye associates for three years. I was never really impressed with the doctors their. With comments like you see better than most people without glasses than they do with. That never sat well with me. On my annual checkup I was told I needed new glasses. I ordered a new set received the new set and could see no better than the previous set.i actually felt like my vision was worse. So I decided to see another eye-doctor. At my new exam 2 months after my annual My original prescription in May was -.25 just in my left eye. The new prescription is -.50 left and -.50 in the right with a stigmatism adjustment. The reader adjustments stayed the same. So I just payed today $550 for new lenses that are less than 2 months old and an eye exam for 139. Long story short save your money go somewhere else.

From checking in to the exam and the sales. My experience was wonderful. I had an appointment was called back on time. The doctor I saw was engaging and very personable. The sales person was able to get me exactly what I wanted and keeping the cost reasonable.
Julie C | Rating: 5 | My Eyelab
To be honest i almost walked out due to sticker shock. I expected affordable glasses -nope. Luckily Eye lab has one good thing going for them. Their people. ERIKA understood my position and worked her magic. I cant say I got a great deal at Eyelab but I can say I got what I needed. Many thanks to Erika who went out of her way to find a way to make that happen within my budget. Added bonus- glasses were ready a full week ahead of schedule!
Sue Kennedy | Rating: 5 | The View On Elm
Becky and Marti always find the perfect glasses for me. They match your sense of style and personality and select the perfect frames for each client. Problem is you can’t just buy one pair! So many great styles to choose from! I have three pair from The View on Elm and love ❤️ them all!
