This office just gives bad vibes all around and felt it as soon as I walked in. The little girl at the checkout desk needs to watch her tone. The attitude she gave for no reason when all I was trying to do was check out is disgusting. If you aren’t ready to do your job and check a patient out yet just politely say “I’ll be right with you” or something along those lines. Not “you need to go stand at a podium we aren’t ready yet” with a snotty attitude. First off stand at a podium? Girl doesn’t even know what a podium is. Very bizarre. All around the whole office was giving rude and unprofessional with horrible communication skills. The only one that was cool was the Doctor. Couldn’t wait to get out of there. Will be going someplace else for glasses.
Sadly, the receptionists are not warm and friendly. They do not care to be on the phone at all. The Dr did a fine job, but didn't seem to really care. I called back the following day for help managing pain and advise. My thoughts were dismissed and I never received a call back with help as I was told.
I have had great service and care at the Penfield office so suggested my husband and daughter go. They have had one problem after another with just getting contacts and the office getting the right place and time for appointments and just trial contacts to be distributed. It has been a lot of time (month or so) and still no contacts or prescription for contacts has been given. It also took months to get in for them. Also, watching an office worker continually pinch another office worker's butt, well, that says it all. Unfortunately, they have lost several patients due to this which is sad as the drs we have had are great. And the Saga continues. After numerous visits, we were treated horribly by the Brighton tech and receptionist. It would almost be comical all the mistakes and unprofessional behavior if it were a sitcom but it’s our time. Even with us treating the staff with heaps of patience, kindness and humor, my daughter was still treated poorly. Thank goodness for Dr. Jogoda’s professional behavior and attitude but never again for my child. Back to Visionworks. Always on top of it there.
