I have been coming to this office for years. Never had an issue scheduling an appointment. Office staff have always been professional and courteous. Dr. R is always busy but this is not surprising to me because he is great at what he does. In this time, it is obvious that the workforce everywhere you go is limited/ stretched, and this includes healthcare. So many Doctors have either retired or left and I’m thankful that Dr.R is still here taking care of his patients.

The workers there were very helpful and very nice. The doctor explained everything about our visit very well and made sure we were satisfied. I recommend this place to everyone. The staffs and doctor are doing a great job.

I don’t pretend to know all the science behind eyes and astigmatisms. But I do think it’s a bit weird they would charge me more for an eye exam because I have an astigmatism; I don’t honestly think that it should require that much more equipment and testing just to get my eyes fitted for contacts. On top of the whole ‘being charged more because I have an astigmatism and am not just normal blind’, which I kind of calmed down from, I did not receive my prescription immediately after my eye exam, which I understand is law. I got my prescription and paid significantly less for my contacts at Costco than what they were selling them for. Like I say, I don’t pretend to know the workings of being an optometrist but I felt talked down to by the doctor, had to go back multiple times just to get the prescription, and overall had an unpleasant experience with eye mart express and won’t be going back to any eye mart express.
