Terrible service I’ve been waiting over a year for my contacts to come in and then they said they couldn’t find me in their system, then they changed that to we called you and left you a voicemail and if you don’t check it it’s not their fault. So now I have to redo the eye exam because the contacts have expired and they want to charge me again for the exam. You get what you pay for. No accountability once so ever. Very rude and disrespectful owner.

I have been going to the independent ophthalmologists for years. I had to go get seen because my computer glass broke. They couldn't find my VSP insurance thus i had to pay cash. I called VSP and they advised my insurance was still active and they would only reimburse me $50 for the visit when i was charged $69. Then the new ophthalmologists change my prescription. The old ophthalmologists keep it consistent even if it changed a little. I started to use my new glasses at work and by 2pm my eyes were sore and I had a headache. I then was unable to see long distance the computerwhile usingmy sittingto standing desk. I called requesting my old computer glass prescription and advised the problems I was having. They said I would have to wait a week. I asked if i can see my old optometrist that only works on Monday (semi-retired) they said no. I advised it was urgent because I needed my glasses for work because im a pharmacist. She had no sense of urgency and had no resolution. I then went to eye glass shop/ ophthalmologists and told them my dilemma. They fixed my glass in less than an hour and didn't charge me for the new lenses. They said she decreased by my prescription by 25% and that why Icouldn't see the computer. If i go back I'll only see the ophthalmologists that works on Mondays if they let me schedule with her.

First, the eye exam was quick & easy despite insurance issuses. They had trouble finding my insurance. I do not know my employee ID number, hence not being able to find me in the database. However, when I arrived they were were able to remedy this within 5 minutes with additional information. Besides that, there was no wait. I also have double vision that cannot be corrected. Often when I go to a new optometrist, they insist on trying to fix this. This is annoying and a waste of everybody's time. Thankfully, after being informed of this situation, the optometrist did not try to correct it which I appreciate. Finally, my order of frames and contacts came in quickly which was greatly appreciated. Plus, the price was much less than what I normally pay. I will definitely go back next year for my contact lens exam!
