Why do eyeglasses cost so much?
Eyeglasses are a complex optical device that is manufactured with high-precision equipment. Often expensive materials are used for the glasses. All of this explains why eyeglasses can be expensive.
What should you do before buying glasses?
Let's look at what to look for when buying eyeglasses. The first is, of course, quality. The second is the choice of lenses of glasses. Here we focus attention on the material: they can be either glass or plastic. The third is the choice of frames.
What's the difference between expensive glasses and cheap glasses for vision?
The quality and accordingly the price of the lens depends on the presence of coatings on the lenses. The higher the price, the more coatings on the lens. Coatings make our vision more comfortable. Lens manufacturers do not stand still and improve the quality of lenses.
How do I know which glasses fit my face?
It's best if the width of the frame is equal to or slightly larger than the widest part of your face. The upper line of the frames should coincide with the line of eyebrows. Smooth shapes of glasses will emphasize rounded curves of the face. To emphasize high cheekbones choose the "butterfly" or "cat-eye" glasses.
Where can I see better with glasses or contact lenses?
With lenses, you can see better, so it turns out that extra obstacles don't distort the image. Lenses don't shed dust, don't catch glare from the sun and don't distort peripheral vision-no matter where we look, the image stays sharp.

The office is very small and old-fashioned. However, Dr Rose is a highly knowledgeable and kind optometrist. His three secretaries are bilingual in English and Spanish. They were all helpful and courteous (although the secretaries self admittedly gossip a bit too much). Because of the small number of staff, the patients receive individualised attention. I would recommend this practice.

The doctor is nice, the receptionist were rude and unprofessional. I would come again if the receptionist were different. Also finding the office wasn’t difficult but the entrance is in the back door not the front.

I absolutely love this place! I recently decided to ditch my other eye doctor and try someone more knowledgeable and with more experience. Dr. Koppel was fantastic. He was very informative throughout my eye exam. He gave me tips on how to take better care of my lenses and dry eyes. Not once has a doctor recommended daily contacts to help my dry eyes, I am so happy he did because it changed my life! He also has started me on an eye drop regimen which has been so helpful. Brandon was another ray of sunshine :). He welcomed us with a warm smile and friendly greeting when we arrived. After my eye exam he took the time to go over not only glasses options but even my insurance benefits and how I can achieve the best discount. I appreciate that, usually people don’t dedicate time to help with that. I was only there an hour or so but I felt at home. Thank you for a wonderful experience, I will be recommending all of my friends and family there!

The doctor is great and that is why I was looking to come back for a follow up when I called to schedule an appointment I was told by the staff that I will have to be placed In a waiting list which was fine with me they called me the next day to schedule last minute which I couldn't do when I called the office today to ask of I'm still on the waiting list the Spanish speaking receptionist who claimed to be the manager as well was extremely rude when she said they had called me multiple times to schedule an appointment which was not true they only called me once she stated that I should have stopped everything I had to do the day they called me to go to their office since their are other patients who are waiting as well. As the manager she claims to be should know better then to speak to patients that way there are no excuses to be rude especially when the patients are not rude to her. It's unacceptable how she can still be working there. For this reason I will be switching doctors which is not fair because the doctor is great.
