Why do eyeglasses cost so much?
Eyeglasses are a complex optical device that is manufactured with high-precision equipment. Often expensive materials are used for the glasses. All of this explains why eyeglasses can be expensive.
What should you do before buying glasses?
Let's look at what to look for when buying eyeglasses. The first is, of course, quality. The second is the choice of lenses of glasses. Here we focus attention on the material: they can be either glass or plastic. The third is the choice of frames.
What's the difference between expensive glasses and cheap glasses for vision?
The quality and accordingly the price of the lens depends on the presence of coatings on the lenses. The higher the price, the more coatings on the lens. Coatings make our vision more comfortable. Lens manufacturers do not stand still and improve the quality of lenses.
How do I know which glasses fit my face?
It's best if the width of the frame is equal to or slightly larger than the widest part of your face. The upper line of the frames should coincide with the line of eyebrows. Smooth shapes of glasses will emphasize rounded curves of the face. To emphasize high cheekbones choose the "butterfly" or "cat-eye" glasses.
Where can I see better with glasses or contact lenses?
With lenses, you can see better, so it turns out that extra obstacles don't distort the image. Lenses don't shed dust, don't catch glare from the sun and don't distort peripheral vision-no matter where we look, the image stays sharp.

First time here and he was great. I was so nervous coming in because I hate trying new places but the office welcomed me with open arms. He also addressed all my concerns and actually listened. I greatly appreciate that. This may be my new place

An update to my post from below. Years after the below I now see Dr. Lonsk and I appreciate the service. The person I had delt with before - well I have not seen her. I am serviced quickly and Dr. Lonsk puts a lot of care into seeing his patients. ×××××××××××××× Made an appointment for today. On the call I asked if they take Eyemed. I was told only the Access plan which I took my card out and said I did. I was never asked for the card number to check eligibility. We get there and are told coverage is for next year which is wrong. The receptionist was disrespectful in demeanor and unhelpful with trying to understand where was the error. Neither of them would call the insurance company as if just our fault and we had to deal. Customer service states differently - if you want business, you work together with the patient, especially new patients willing to pay for service. We walked out Doctors lose business easily bc of their staff!

He's a such a pleasant doctor to visit. He's very friendly and he makes me feel very comfortable. Also, it's obvious that he really knows what he's doing and he really cares about his patients. I'm glad to have him as my optometrist. He's one of my favorite doctors.

Very nice staff and knowledgeable doctor. I had an eye problem for 2 months and another doctor couldn't find the source. Dr. Lonsk did a bunch of tests with dyes and drops and gave me a diagnosis finally i can control it and see sooo much better. thank you soooo much :)
