Who is an optometrist and what does he or she do?

Why do eyeglasses cost so much?
Eyeglasses are a complex optical device that is manufactured with high-precision equipment. Often expensive materials are used for the glasses. All of this explains why eyeglasses can be expensive.
What should you do before buying glasses?
Let's look at what to look for when buying eyeglasses. The first is, of course, quality. The second is the choice of lenses of glasses. Here we focus attention on the material: they can be either glass or plastic. The third is the choice of frames.
What's the difference between expensive glasses and cheap glasses for vision?
The quality and accordingly the price of the lens depends on the presence of coatings on the lenses. The higher the price, the more coatings on the lens. Coatings make our vision more comfortable. Lens manufacturers do not stand still and improve the quality of lenses.
How do I know which glasses fit my face?
It's best if the width of the frame is equal to or slightly larger than the widest part of your face. The upper line of the frames should coincide with the line of eyebrows. Smooth shapes of glasses will emphasize rounded curves of the face. To emphasize high cheekbones choose the "butterfly" or "cat-eye" glasses.
Where can I see better with glasses or contact lenses?
With lenses, you can see better, so it turns out that extra obstacles don't distort the image. Lenses don't shed dust, don't catch glare from the sun and don't distort peripheral vision-no matter where we look, the image stays sharp.

I cannot say enough great things about this office. The location is very easy to get to and the staff is so friendly. I had to take my 4 year old in to get evaluated. I chose this office from recommendation I received from another mother about her experience with her young child. This office is an hour and a half away from me but it was well worth the drive. The staff was so sweet and patient with my son. They took thier time when he started to get overwhelmed and when he wanted to tell them all about is school they took the time to listen to him. DR. RUSSELL W. CHAPPIUS III was so amazing and answered all of my questions and concerns. 10 out of 10 I highly recommend this office for anyone with small children.

I needed to be seen on an emergency basis. I called and they got me in right away. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. Dr. Wuzzardo was very reassuring and answered all my questions. I believe I have found a new eye care facility.

I needed to be seen for an emergency appointment as a new pt. The front desk staff was so helpful and gave me an appointment the next morning. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Wuzzardo, what an amazing Dr. He immediately diagnosed the problem and had his staff get me into a corneal specialist right away. Things could have been a lot worse if I wasn’t seen as quickly as I was. I’m definitely switching the family over to this practice. If it’s not around the corner from you, trust me it’s worth the drive. 5 stars from start to finish. Thank you to the entire staff!

It amazes me how the reviews from your website are so good and from everywhere else you have nothing over a 2 star review and sad customers. Your receptionists are curt, cold, and inconsiderate. I definitely have to go look for another eye doctor because the staff there is so pathetic. The only way I see it is that you have your curt, cold, and inconsiderate friends writing reviews for your website. That's the only way it can be. No more for me thanks. UPDATE: I never mentioned your mask mandate on this review. I am fully vaccinated for everything including shingles for your information. Many people including me do not appreciate your military perspective. I'm ex military and I don't need the Gestapo running my eye doctor appointment.

Good prices in frames with a lot of choices. Had a same day exam on New year's Eve. Good service. Offers a year of coverage on glasses. I had a broken pair that was replaced within 10 minutes same day.
