Eye exams is a procedure to evaluate the functions of the eye that provide normal vision. Namely, how the size, shape, and color of objects are perceived, as well as their location relative to each other. Eye exams are necessary for the timely detection of abnormalities and successful correction. Eye exams include accurate determination of the patient's visual acuity and refraction, intraocular pressure measurements, microscopic examination of the eye (biomicroscopy), pachymetry (corneal thickness measurement), echobiometry (eye length determination), ultrasound eye examination (B-scan), computer keratotopography and thorough retinal (eye fundus) examination with a wide pupil, tear production level determination and detailed visual field examination of the patient. Various methods are used to test vision, the results of which allow the doctor to identify abnormalities and prescribe a correction.

Dr. Stella Lau is such an AMAZING Eye Doctor who is very detailed, knowledgeable, informative, careful, caring, professional, and very well equipped so patients can get proper diagnosis and feedback along with educated suggestions and recommendations. I only go to see her for myself and my family and I always recommend anyone to allow her to check their eyes before they go anywhere else. She is very honest, well educated, intelligent, good hearted and knows her stuff! I love her! Thank you Dr. Stella Lau and staff for always making me and my family feel welcomed and comfortable! Had an excellent experience with this place. The eye care staff were super nice, extremely helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. Dr Lau was awesome. Not only gave me a thorough examination but also explained every step and gave lots of options. I felt very comfortable and safe. They have a great selection of glasses and contacts, I ended up picking up new pairs of both. I would highly recommend this business, to anyone looking for professional eye care and not some in and out sales mill like some of the chain stores. Desert Vision actually cares about their patients and does exactly what they say they will. Excellent value and my speed of service was excellent.

This was my first visit and it was the best eye exam I have ever had. Dr. Goh was very thorough and explained things simply and in detail. Front desk young lady was very professional and accommodating. My appointment time was on target, no waiting. Golden Eyecare will be my future eye care provider.
