Who is an optometrist and what does he or she do?
Optometry is a branch of ophthalmology that specializes in methods of correcting vision using optometric aids. An optometrist is a specialist who determines the degree of vision impairment and prescribes corrective aids such as glasses and contact lenses.
What is the difference between an ophthalmologist and an optometrist?
What is the difference between the profession of an optometrist and an ophthalmologist? An optometrist only provides initial diagnosis and can only treat refractive errors with conservative methods.

Why do eyeglasses cost so much?
Eyeglasses are a complex optical device that is manufactured with high-precision equipment. Often expensive materials are used for the glasses. All of this explains why eyeglasses can be expensive.
What should you do before buying glasses?
Let's look at what to look for when buying eyeglasses. The first is, of course, quality. The second is the choice of lenses of glasses. Here we focus attention on the material: they can be either glass or plastic. The third is the choice of frames.
What's the difference between expensive glasses and cheap glasses for vision?
The quality and accordingly the price of the lens depends on the presence of coatings on the lenses. The higher the price, the more coatings on the lens. Coatings make our vision more comfortable. Lens manufacturers do not stand still and improve the quality of lenses.
How do I know which glasses fit my face?
It's best if the width of the frame is equal to or slightly larger than the widest part of your face. The upper line of the frames should coincide with the line of eyebrows. Smooth shapes of glasses will emphasize rounded curves of the face. To emphasize high cheekbones choose the "butterfly" or "cat-eye" glasses.
Where can I see better with glasses or contact lenses?
With lenses, you can see better, so it turns out that extra obstacles don't distort the image. Lenses don't shed dust, don't catch glare from the sun and don't distort peripheral vision-no matter where we look, the image stays sharp.

This business is AMAZING! From the staff at the front desk checking me in-super friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming, to the ophthalmologist-again so knowledgeable, thorough, friendly and cares to explain and educate you about your eyes in a way that is understandable, fun and extremely helpful for both proactive and current care for your eyes, to the lovely staff who again educate you on prices and insurance plan information along with helping you get the best deal with this information and assist in choosing the best eye ware to suit your needs and finally to the assistant who moves you smoothly and quickly through all of the different tests to measure your eye health all the while engaging in a caring, friendly, efficient and fun way made this experience literally the BEST experience I have ever had at an eye appointment! I will never go anywhere else this place has ruined my ophthalmology experience for any other company due to how truly STELLAR everyone at this company treated me and made my appointment fun, exciting and EXCEPTIONAL! Everyone was really nice and friendly and I thought I was going to love it. I had to ask the doctor if he was going to dilate my eyes and he said he usually doesn't unless there is a known eye problem, concern or disease like diabetes. I told him I was a diabetic and in previous eye exams I had a little retinopathy. He said he would dilate them in that case and put the drops in. While we were waiting for the drops to kick in, he went over all the pictures they took, which was really nice because they did tests I've never had done before (being diabetic I've had a lot of pictures and tests done on my eyes the past 25 years). After that, a lady came in and said I was good to go. I should have spoke up then and I didn't, I get it my fault. He sent a letter to my endocrinologist saying everything was great, even after dilating, though he didn't look at my eyes after they were dilated. He put on the report that I am a type 2 diabetic which was news to my endocrinologist and I because I'm type 1. Really nice guy, very informative but I can't say I'd go back.

I had an amazing experience with Chad and their team. I haven’t had an eye exam in over 10 years and the optometrist Chad did a fantastic job. Without insurance the price is reasonable for a comprehensive exam and their instruments and equipment are more than a impressive. I would highly recommend checking them out!
