Why do eyeglasses cost so much?
Eyeglasses are a complex optical device that is manufactured with high-precision equipment. Often expensive materials are used for the glasses. All of this explains why eyeglasses can be expensive.
What should you do before buying glasses?
Let's look at what to look for when buying eyeglasses. The first is, of course, quality. The second is the choice of lenses of glasses. Here we focus attention on the material: they can be either glass or plastic. The third is the choice of frames.
What's the difference between expensive glasses and cheap glasses for vision?
The quality and accordingly the price of the lens depends on the presence of coatings on the lenses. The higher the price, the more coatings on the lens. Coatings make our vision more comfortable. Lens manufacturers do not stand still and improve the quality of lenses.
How do I know which glasses fit my face?
It's best if the width of the frame is equal to or slightly larger than the widest part of your face. The upper line of the frames should coincide with the line of eyebrows. Smooth shapes of glasses will emphasize rounded curves of the face. To emphasize high cheekbones choose the "butterfly" or "cat-eye" glasses.
Where can I see better with glasses or contact lenses?
With lenses, you can see better, so it turns out that extra obstacles don't distort the image. Lenses don't shed dust, don't catch glare from the sun and don't distort peripheral vision-no matter where we look, the image stays sharp.

Great experience. Especially for someone who gets anxiety at the doctors. Everyone was so sweet and welcoming and calm. Was also pleased with how punctual the doctor was. Very on time. I love that. At the end, Julie also saved me over $500 on my glasses and appointment!

Love this place! Dr. Hayden is so sweet, professional, and is so great about explaining everything she is going to do, as well as her recommendations and treatment options. She made me feel so comfortable. The staff was so patient and great with helping me pick out glasses. My glasses also showed up insanely quickly. I was told it was probably going to take 1-1.5 months and my glasses arrived in less than 2 weeks! They were super patient and helped me price out different options for contacts as well. We will definitely be back next year!

I had my eye exam at Heinsight Eyecare this week and it was a great experience from top to bottom. I mistakenly showed up an hour early for my visit, with my 3 year old daughter in tow, and they were able to accomodate my mistake and get us through the appointment and out the door before 11am. Every interaction I have had, including scheduling, insurance questions, and the actual visit, has been wonderful. The providers and support staff are kind, helpful, accommodating, and knowledgeable. I had been to another office before this, and let's just say, the experience was completely different. Thank you Heinsight!

My husband and I noticed a slight degradation in our eye sight. Heinsight was listed as being in network for my insurance plan. My 1st call was very easy. I made sure Heinsight was taking new patients. With a few simple questions answered I had scheduled my appointment. I also mentioned that if they had any cancellations I was available. Sure enough, two days later, I got a call back and was bumped up by 2wks. I was also able to add my husband. The entire 1st appointment took 1hr for the both of us from getting us registered as new patients, to completing an eye exam, to picking out our new glasses. I was able to use their web app to preselect frames I thought would best fit my face. They have a great selection of eye wear. My husband was also able to pick out frames without using the web app. The entire staff was courteous and friendly. Would highly recommend Heinsight Eye care for your eye care needs.

This was the first time my husband and I went to Heinsight Eyecare. We were so impressed with how friendly and caring the staff is, especially Julie and Jen who helped us with our glasses. The frame selection is broad, very stylish and we are both so happy with our updated new looks. Most importantly, our vision is noticeably improved! Dr. Marla Hayden is exceptionally thorough, and provides tests and eye health care solutions that I've never had in the past. I've struggled with blurred vision and dry eye, so much so that I wasn't able to get a clear enough vision test the first time. Dr. Hayden stopped the exam and prescribed a one month dry eye therapy regimen, which included moist heat, stimulating my oil glands and series of blinking. When I returned for my re-exam, there was a big difference. She also tested my tear production at that point, and showed me pictures of where my glands were starting to clog. I will continue my dry eye regimen and return in 3 months and 6 months. I highly recommend Heinsight Eyecare! My husband and I also like the little house and that there are windows on all sides making it a very welcoming, happy environment.
