Eye exams is a procedure to evaluate the functions of the eye that provide normal vision. Namely, how the size, shape, and color of objects are perceived, as well as their location relative to each other. Eye exams are necessary for the timely detection of abnormalities and successful correction. Eye exams include accurate determination of the patient's visual acuity and refraction, intraocular pressure measurements, microscopic examination of the eye (biomicroscopy), pachymetry (corneal thickness measurement), echobiometry (eye length determination), ultrasound eye examination (B-scan), computer keratotopography and thorough retinal (eye fundus) examination with a wide pupil, tear production level determination and detailed visual field examination of the patient. Various methods are used to test vision, the results of which allow the doctor to identify abnormalities and prescribe a correction.

Big shoutout to Mo, who came through during a last-minute contact lens emergency. He went above and beyond to make sure I got what I needed, which ultimately helped save a wedding, and more than deserves this praise. Definitely recommend the customer service at this location!

I received top-notch service at Soma Optical. I would advice anyone in need of sunglass/eyeglass repair or purchase to check this place out! I brought a pair of Persol sunglasses into the store hoping to be repaired and they were on the spot! The gentleman who repaired them was a wizard. He checked out the sunglasses and felt he may be able to repair them in-store. He quickly went to work and voila he had them repaired within 10 minutes and that was not all. He fit them perfectly to my face. The care and attention was incredible. I was not charged and I did not buy them there. The next pair of sunglasses I purchase will be bought there. Do I need to say I highly recommend!

While I haven't purchased eyeglasses from this place (yet), I have experienced outstanding customer service every time I have visited this store. I have a pair of Silhouette eyeglasses that are unique in that they are wireless frames, very lightweight and no one else in the area can repair them. I have had a few problems in that things have broke on them and every time I have come here they get fixed very quickly, very professionally and with a very friendly demeanor. When I get new healthcare coverage that has eyecare included I will be back to buy a new pair because they're great!
