Why do eyeglasses cost so much?
Eyeglasses are a complex optical device that is manufactured with high-precision equipment. Often expensive materials are used for the glasses. All of this explains why eyeglasses can be expensive.
What should you do before buying glasses?
Let's look at what to look for when buying eyeglasses. The first is, of course, quality. The second is the choice of lenses of glasses. Here we focus attention on the material: they can be either glass or plastic. The third is the choice of frames.
What's the difference between expensive glasses and cheap glasses for vision?
The quality and accordingly the price of the lens depends on the presence of coatings on the lenses. The higher the price, the more coatings on the lens. Coatings make our vision more comfortable. Lens manufacturers do not stand still and improve the quality of lenses.
How do I know which glasses fit my face?
It's best if the width of the frame is equal to or slightly larger than the widest part of your face. The upper line of the frames should coincide with the line of eyebrows. Smooth shapes of glasses will emphasize rounded curves of the face. To emphasize high cheekbones choose the "butterfly" or "cat-eye" glasses.
Where can I see better with glasses or contact lenses?
With lenses, you can see better, so it turns out that extra obstacles don't distort the image. Lenses don't shed dust, don't catch glare from the sun and don't distort peripheral vision-no matter where we look, the image stays sharp.

The most amazing selection of unique frames! I know I'll look my best because Alex won't sell me unflattering frames (even if I beg). Quality is superb. If only the price tags were lower I'd give 5 stars. Loyal customer for 6 years!

I found this store while looking for a Lindbergh dealer in the area (I LOVE Lindbergh and if you haven’t tried their frames, you should check them out - super light, beautiful colors, and great, modern shapes). Making an appointment was super easy - I even called after hours and it was not a problem at all. Once I came in I found out this store has an amazing range of styles - I ended up not even getting my beloved Lindbergh frames and instead bought two other frames that the owner suggested - totally LOVE them. I think this is a great place for anyone who just loves cool glasses, and even better place for someone looking for guidance on what looks best on them. The owner seems genuinely interested in finding the best fit for you vs. just selling you whatever, so it’s like having an optician and a stylist working with you - all in one, plus it feels great to support a small local business vs. one of the big chains (just my opinion!).

I had been getting glasses from my Opthalmologist for years, that barely last a year, and never really fit right. EyetoEye was recommended from friends, and Alex at the store suggested the frames that complement my face and have been going strong for years. I highly recommend EyeToEye.

My new glasses fit my face beautifully and look amazing. I purchased glasses from my eye doctor last November and they never fit right and ended up being much too heavy for me. Alex had many frames I hadn’t seen anywhere else and I was able to find a pair with blue that I loved in my price range!
