Why do eyeglasses cost so much?
Eyeglasses are a complex optical device that is manufactured with high-precision equipment. Often expensive materials are used for the glasses. All of this explains why eyeglasses can be expensive.
What should you do before buying glasses?
Let's look at what to look for when buying eyeglasses. The first is, of course, quality. The second is the choice of lenses of glasses. Here we focus attention on the material: they can be either glass or plastic. The third is the choice of frames.
What's the difference between expensive glasses and cheap glasses for vision?
The quality and accordingly the price of the lens depends on the presence of coatings on the lenses. The higher the price, the more coatings on the lens. Coatings make our vision more comfortable. Lens manufacturers do not stand still and improve the quality of lenses.
How do I know which glasses fit my face?
It's best if the width of the frame is equal to or slightly larger than the widest part of your face. The upper line of the frames should coincide with the line of eyebrows. Smooth shapes of glasses will emphasize rounded curves of the face. To emphasize high cheekbones choose the "butterfly" or "cat-eye" glasses.
Where can I see better with glasses or contact lenses?
With lenses, you can see better, so it turns out that extra obstacles don't distort the image. Lenses don't shed dust, don't catch glare from the sun and don't distort peripheral vision-no matter where we look, the image stays sharp.

Was able to get a late appointment due to an eye issue. They did a full exam anyway; The doctor was efficient and professional. He actually seemed interested in me instead of my insurance. Only give a four-star because I’m waiting for my glasses to get picked up today, I will update this shortly. I expect to give it five stars in the end though.

I like the doctors. However being a patient with them for almost 10 years and now we call to book appts and it first available is 4 months out. Obviously they are taking on more patients than they can handle. Too long of a wait when we aren't even new patients. Finding another doctor rather than wait. I understand a month maybe 2...4 months is a doc showing me they dont have time for it. Lost 4 patients my immediate family and bout 5 more in other family members. We noticed a few years back it was getting longer and longer...4 months is too long tho.

Called today for an appointment for our son. She didn't want to schedule us at all. She stated the Drs would want to dilate his eyes. I told her he is allergic to eye drops. She then said that the Drs would not see him with out being able to dilate his eyes. I then tried to ask questions about this and she ended the call while I was trying to make an appointment. Very rude customer service.

Seriously this place has the best glasses selection around. I picked so many I had to narrow it down and still ended up with two pair. Jessie M helped me the first night and she was absolutely wonderful. The day of my appointment Jessie M And a girl name Francesca helped me to complete my order. I must tell you they have more selection than any of the other places in the Florence Ky Area. Jesse M is very Knowledgeable. Now I have to wait two weeks to get the glasses and boy am I excited …I can’t wait to be able to see clearly again. I also got a free eye exam. Buy two pairs of glasses and get a free eye exam. Couldn’t ask for more
Bianca Wanders | Rating: 5 | Walmart Vision & Glasses
Never had any issues, neither with the Doctor nor any of the others. It's a walk-in center, it's always better to call before and check what's going on. Expect some delay, as Walmart attracts many one-stop shoppers. With this being said, people who work there need our patience and understanding, don't expect royal treatment, they usually had a long and hard day on their feet. Again, I never had any issues with any of them.
