Walmart Vision & Glasses

My disatisfaction is not with the Optical Department but rather with Dr. Bui. I was his patient for almost 5 years and although I feel he is extremely knowledgeable and efficient, he is also boorish, rude, disrespectful, and abrasive. He was at the 53rd & Meridian store at the time and since I am elderly and live very close to that location, I continued seeing him out of convenience ONLY! On my last visit, he was exceptionally argumentative and brash to the point of me relating my dissatisfaction to his receptionist who I later discovered was his wife. She was very polite and apologetic, however that was my final day as a patient. After reading all the other negative reviews concerning Dr. Bui, my only consolation is at least his unprofessional behavior wasn't directed to me personally. I would NEVER recommend Dr.Bui for eyecare.

Dr Bui was great on my first visit. He seems extremely knowledgeable on the science end of his field. Went back the following year and had the most bizarre and unprofessional encounter with a Dr ever. He went into a hostile, angry rant over my not recalling which sample contact lenses I preferred from the year before. I would have been happy to pay for samples and offered to do so. Knowledgeable, but VOLATILE; with seemingly no concept of how to treat patients or anything regarding acceptable customer service. This experience was upsetting and I left the appointment shaken. I drove home blurry eyed thinking I wasn't seeing clearly due to being so upset and discovered after I got home that most of the blurriness was because I had been given the wrong prescription lense to wear in one eye during the consult. I could have had a car accident on the way home. I had to return to the office the next day to get the wrong contact replaced. I was extremely uncomfortable walking back in there. Dr Bui's normal speaking voice is extremely loud, and I had just been shouted out the day before over a routine question. Any professional that that acted so out of line with a patient or customer should have reached out with an apology. His staff apologized quietly & profusely. No word from Dr Bui. Obviously, would recommend trying another Vision Center.

Talk about a terrible experience. Dr. Bui is one of the most verbally violent individuals I've ever engaged with. Absolutely unprofessional and I'm surprised he still has a job with as many people that complain. I know some people at corporate and I will be contacting them about the matter.
