Why do eyeglasses cost so much?
Eyeglasses are a complex optical device that is manufactured with high-precision equipment. Often expensive materials are used for the glasses. All of this explains why eyeglasses can be expensive.
What should you do before buying glasses?
Let's look at what to look for when buying eyeglasses. The first is, of course, quality. The second is the choice of lenses of glasses. Here we focus attention on the material: they can be either glass or plastic. The third is the choice of frames.
What's the difference between expensive glasses and cheap glasses for vision?
The quality and accordingly the price of the lens depends on the presence of coatings on the lenses. The higher the price, the more coatings on the lens. Coatings make our vision more comfortable. Lens manufacturers do not stand still and improve the quality of lenses.
How do I know which glasses fit my face?
It's best if the width of the frame is equal to or slightly larger than the widest part of your face. The upper line of the frames should coincide with the line of eyebrows. Smooth shapes of glasses will emphasize rounded curves of the face. To emphasize high cheekbones choose the "butterfly" or "cat-eye" glasses.
Where can I see better with glasses or contact lenses?
With lenses, you can see better, so it turns out that extra obstacles don't distort the image. Lenses don't shed dust, don't catch glare from the sun and don't distort peripheral vision-no matter where we look, the image stays sharp.

Vision one is a real joke I have a eye disease I have been under cared for by three different doctors no one has done anything. Phone calls have went unanswered you call them back they lie to you until you call them back. At this point I am almost blind my eyes are swollen everyday this is unacceptable. This office is used to be ran by Dr. Murphy who was very professional and capable of keeping up on my eye care. Right now I’m waiting on a prescription that I have not received.

First time patient. Quick, painless, and very friendly staff. They answered all my questions and gave a great explanation of everything they did. Very happy and will definitely be a patient for a long time.

9/13/22 UPDATED Vision Source reached out to me because of my discontentment with my previous experience and made everything right. I really appreciate the fact that they took the time out to listen to my issues and solve them with empathy and understanding. I have updated my review because of this fact. ****************************************************************** Received really bad service. I was told by the Dr. that I could get a new type of contact with a rebate. I paid for the contacts, spoke to the receptionist who told me I would receive my contacts and rebate in the mail. After a month, I called the office to inquire about my purchase. They said they would look into it and call me back later that day. After waiting for 3 days, I called them back. Again, they said they were researching it and would call me back that day. After 3 MORE days, I called them back. Receptionist said the contacts would arrive at my house by next week. I asked if the rebate would be with the contacts and she said yes. After not receiving them again the next week, I called. The receptionist once again said she would look into it. She called back a few minutes later and said MIRACULOUSLY the contacts were right by her, she just didn't see them. I would have to come and get them. They weren't actually mailed after all. After going to pick them up, I realize they are the WRONG contacts and no rebate. I asked to speak to the Manager, who then proceeded to tell me that they have no record of me ordering a new type of contact and there is no rebate. Soooo...it took you all over a month to research and "find" contacts that are already in stock? Insane. I would not recommend at all!
