Why do eyeglasses cost so much?
Eyeglasses are a complex optical device that is manufactured with high-precision equipment. Often expensive materials are used for the glasses. All of this explains why eyeglasses can be expensive.
What should you do before buying glasses?
Let's look at what to look for when buying eyeglasses. The first is, of course, quality. The second is the choice of lenses of glasses. Here we focus attention on the material: they can be either glass or plastic. The third is the choice of frames.
What's the difference between expensive glasses and cheap glasses for vision?
The quality and accordingly the price of the lens depends on the presence of coatings on the lenses. The higher the price, the more coatings on the lens. Coatings make our vision more comfortable. Lens manufacturers do not stand still and improve the quality of lenses.
How do I know which glasses fit my face?
It's best if the width of the frame is equal to or slightly larger than the widest part of your face. The upper line of the frames should coincide with the line of eyebrows. Smooth shapes of glasses will emphasize rounded curves of the face. To emphasize high cheekbones choose the "butterfly" or "cat-eye" glasses.
Where can I see better with glasses or contact lenses?
With lenses, you can see better, so it turns out that extra obstacles don't distort the image. Lenses don't shed dust, don't catch glare from the sun and don't distort peripheral vision-no matter where we look, the image stays sharp.

This was our first visit. Very nice office and they had a good selection of eyeglasses. It was easy to get an appointment as a first time patient and the doctor was very thorough. I used insurance and made a cash purchase. The only thing I did not like was the checkout receptionist with the short red curly hair, she had a disgusting disposition and a very funky attitude, there was no real customer service with her, Everyone was enjoyable and helpful. It was like she showed up to a job that she doesn’t really like. When I asked for the excuse note for my son and I, she shoved them in my also. I was happy with myself for practicing self control about being disrespected but It’s sad because she’s a nice looking female but her attitude is like a rotten banana. Also now that I go back and read some of the reviews I’ve noticed multiple times where people didn’t really care for the customer service. I also see that someone from the company often replies to the review, even their response doesn’t seem like they’re taking 100% responsibility, there’s always some type of an excuse or slick rebuttal first, instead of just apologizing for the bad experience. It comes off as defensive instead of apologetic. I guess we’ll see if someone responds to this.

Great service, great staff! My five year old recently had her eyes examined for the first time. She was terrified of the upcoming visit..the staff did an excellent job in making the process stress-free.

I am grateful to have Tulman Eye Group in my life. I suffer from dry-eye. About a week ago I woke up eye burning and not able to see. It hurt so severely I wanted to go to the emergency room. However I felt they couldn’t give me the proper treatment. So I called Tulman Eye group and they were able to see me that morning. No soon I walked through the door someone gave me immediate service. They numbed my eye which helped tremendously, and then they were able to figure out what the problem was. I can’t thank them enough for the immediate care and attention that was provided. After treatment I was told if I ever have problems with my eyes again don’t hesitate to call.

I have been coming to this eye group for a while now. I've experienced nothing but polite professionalism each visit. Most recently Josie assisted me and answered every question I had and was very patient. I will continue to use this practice and would highly recommend them.

Horrible customer service. Incompetent staff. I’ve went 4 months with the wrong prescription Update 10-19 @ 1223pm since I can’t respond to the response made by Tulman Eye Groups Response. My name isn’t a “fake” name it’s a nickname in which Google allows its users to use when posting reviews. I actually was referred to your office 2 years ago since moving to Georgia and since have had nothing but problems from your office. Whether it be long waits for appointments, rude front desk staff, them forgetting to order contacts, and etc. Even the person who referred me over no longer uses your office and it’s 100% because of the same issue that I had with having the wrong prescription placed into her glasses so to say that this doesn’t seem like your company…. It is and with the same doctor. The same way you responded on here is exactly how the staff in your office responds to issues and it’s rude and confrontational instead of as a business professional and that is exactly what prompted me to place a review on Google.
