Target Optical

I called to see if I could have my eye glass prescription to order my glasses via target optical. The lady was very rude when I asked her she said that she would have to put in a request to have to prescription ready in 3 business days. She just kept repeating herself I then ASKED her if I am ordering through target optical on the website they give me an option to have them directly call Dr.Kim for my measurements would that suffice. Like would they add on the price of my actual prescription once they received the measurements because I have to have special lenses. This lady tells me I don’t know what your question is……….. I gladly told her never mind and to have a good day. I work for Target as a Service & Engagement TL and this is not a good look. I truly just wanted my measurements even if I had to pick them up in 3 business though I guess that would’ve been fine. It’s literally 10:30 am on this beautiful Monday and this is how this lady wanted to start off her day! Absolutely NOT!

Dr. Kim has been my optometrist since 2012! Every visit is/has been a pleasure! The staff is great, he explains everything to me perfectly and answers all my questions, he listens and makes excellent recommendations. Ordering my contacts is a breeze. I'm super happy here and definitely recommend!

I recently switched insurance and was told that I was still able and eligible to use my old insurance, only to be told AFTER the exam that I actually couldn’t use that insurance. That was highly frustrating because I told the woman before the exam that I no longer had that specific insurance and the appointment should have just been canceled. She wasn’t even helpful or apologetic about it afterwards. Should my insurance change in the future, I will not be coming back. Dr. Kim is great though.
