Why do eyeglasses cost so much?
Eyeglasses are a complex optical device that is manufactured with high-precision equipment. Often expensive materials are used for the glasses. All of this explains why eyeglasses can be expensive.
What should you do before buying glasses?
Let's look at what to look for when buying eyeglasses. The first is, of course, quality. The second is the choice of lenses of glasses. Here we focus attention on the material: they can be either glass or plastic. The third is the choice of frames.
What's the difference between expensive glasses and cheap glasses for vision?
The quality and accordingly the price of the lens depends on the presence of coatings on the lenses. The higher the price, the more coatings on the lens. Coatings make our vision more comfortable. Lens manufacturers do not stand still and improve the quality of lenses.
How do I know which glasses fit my face?
It's best if the width of the frame is equal to or slightly larger than the widest part of your face. The upper line of the frames should coincide with the line of eyebrows. Smooth shapes of glasses will emphasize rounded curves of the face. To emphasize high cheekbones choose the "butterfly" or "cat-eye" glasses.
Where can I see better with glasses or contact lenses?
With lenses, you can see better, so it turns out that extra obstacles don't distort the image. Lenses don't shed dust, don't catch glare from the sun and don't distort peripheral vision-no matter where we look, the image stays sharp.

I’ve been coming to the Walmart Vision Center for eye exams once a year but had to come in today unplanned due to an eye abrasion. Ellenora (I hope I spelt your name correctly) was so kind over the phone and even more so in person! She fit me in right away, same day. Dr. Mark Calixte is an amazing optometrist and took the time to explain and answer questions I had. I wish I could give 10 stars. Thank you both so much!

I would definitely come here for all my eye wear needs as well as my eye care. The staff is so nice they are always accommodating. Dr Denigris is great with kids, he cares about eye health more than just writing you a prescription for glasses. Its a small and humble office.

By far the best customer service I have ever experienced anywhere not just a glasses store! They went above and beyond anything I was expecting! Would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you again!

I waited over 5 months for an eye appointment that I desperately needed. The day of my appointment, about 3 hours before my appointment, I get a phone call from this center to that they have to cancel my appointment and cannot reschedule me until January. That is another 4 months of waiting? 9 months of waiting for an eye exam are you kidding me?! Not to mention the woman at the front desk was beyond rude and dismissive. Thank god there are other, better places out there because this place isn’t it! No wonder they have only 3 stars.

When I asked two associates sitting in the front desk about the offers of two bifocals for $99.00 ,they stared me like I'm an alien from some remote planet. When I explained about the offer from their website, one of them direct me to get from green rack, I told them I didn't understand what they meant, she came to show the racks and went back to the front desk with other associate and offered no help. Looks like they don't encouraged to see budget friendly customers!
