Why do eyeglasses cost so much?
Eyeglasses are a complex optical device that is manufactured with high-precision equipment. Often expensive materials are used for the glasses. All of this explains why eyeglasses can be expensive.
What should you do before buying glasses?
Let's look at what to look for when buying eyeglasses. The first is, of course, quality. The second is the choice of lenses of glasses. Here we focus attention on the material: they can be either glass or plastic. The third is the choice of frames.
What's the difference between expensive glasses and cheap glasses for vision?
The quality and accordingly the price of the lens depends on the presence of coatings on the lenses. The higher the price, the more coatings on the lens. Coatings make our vision more comfortable. Lens manufacturers do not stand still and improve the quality of lenses.
How do I know which glasses fit my face?
It's best if the width of the frame is equal to or slightly larger than the widest part of your face. The upper line of the frames should coincide with the line of eyebrows. Smooth shapes of glasses will emphasize rounded curves of the face. To emphasize high cheekbones choose the "butterfly" or "cat-eye" glasses.
Where can I see better with glasses or contact lenses?
With lenses, you can see better, so it turns out that extra obstacles don't distort the image. Lenses don't shed dust, don't catch glare from the sun and don't distort peripheral vision-no matter where we look, the image stays sharp.

This joker gave me a prescription to the worst possible contacts to sleep in after I told him I needed contacts that you can wear for at least a week at a time. I can't even take a nap in these without my eyes being red for the rest of the day. What a clown.

I came here yesterday for an eye exam and some glasses and it was great. I worked with a lady, I think the manager, I don’t remember her name... but she was so nice and patient. We had trouble finding my insurance, and when we finally found it, we realized I was giving her the wrong birth year for the primary. She went above and beyond with all of the time it took to find it. And she continued to talk to me during all of this, so I didn’t feel ignored or that she forgot about me. She then helped me pick out 2 pairs of glasses and helped me choose the right lenses for what I needed. I am so glad I went here, and I can’t wait for my new glasses to come in!

Do not, I repeat do not go to this store. If I could give zero stars I would! The workers are incompetent and the assistant manager was beyond rude for his own mistake. I tried replacing frames I had just gotten and was told to write the glasses I wanted on a sticky note... Call a week later and was told my new pair had shipped but they weren't sure when they'd be in. Waited literally 3 weeks without hearing anything and called the store irritated. On comes the very rude assistant manager who says "let me irritate you further; that order never got put in". I told him that was on him/the store and not me. So they lied to me and told me my glasses had shipped and now they're telling me that wasn't true and they didn't do their one effing job. I asked for a full refund and the very rude assistant manager told me to never return to the store. So I will try to make sure no one goes to this store. This store in my opinion should be called america's worst.

Energizer Bunny | Rating: 5 | Target Optical
Dominic the assistant manager at Target Optical is hands down the best! His astute recommendation for eyewear was spot on. Got excellent sunglasses that I use daily now. Also assisted hubby with the right frames for his over frame sunglasses. Dominic was not only extremely helpful but went above and beyond with the most amazing customer service. The best eye care we have ever had!
