Contact lenses are small lenses that are in "contact" with your eyes. They are designed to correct refractive errors and keep your eyes healthy. The lenses are in the tear film on the cornea. Modern contact lenses are small lenses worn over the cornea of the eye. Modern contact lenses whether soft or hard. Most people wear soft contact lenses, but it wasn't that long ago that lenses were made of glass. Colored contact lenses can make your eyes more intense or completely change the color of your eyes, and costume contact lenses can help create special effects seen on the big screen.
What is the difference between glasses and contact lenses?
Unlike glasses, contact lenses do not limit the field of vision. With glasses, the field of vision is limited, causing people to have to turn their head to see something from the side.
Can I sleep in contact lenses?
Modern soft contact lenses allow enough oxygen to the eye, but when you sleep, your eyes are closed and, therefore, the access of oxygen to them is reduced.
What are the harms of contact lenses?
Prolonged contact lens wear causes the cornea to thin (keratocytes lose their ability to synthesize new tissue). This can happen even with proper lens wear 3-5 years after use. In the case of reaction to hypoxia (lack of oxygen), the main complication is the formation of new blood vessels.

This place was super amazing and I loved how they treated me wonderfully. Over 9 years but now they no longer take my health insurance. It's so hard for me to trust anyone with my eyes and now for them to not longer accept my insurance just puts me in a high depression.

Would give this place a better rating if: 1) they knew how to spell my child’s name correctly, every time they spell it wrong even after it’s written on paper 2) if they had workers there that knew how to clean lenses! Just picked up my daughters glasses from getting a repair done and the lenses are horribly dirty! We give them clean and pick them up nasty. Common sense to give back anyones glasses clean like the last place we’ve gotten glasses from. Their excuse is “oh I don’t know how to clean lenses good”. Like really, every time she has gone to get her glasses adjusted, not only do they NOT clean the lenses, they put their fingers all over them. Have some common sense in handling your patient’s glasses, it’s not like they are cheap either!

I went in today for my eye exam. This place was very clean, smelled fresh, and was organized. I loved the layout there is a very expansive retail area, and a waiting area tucked away apart from retail side. The staff was courteous, welcoming and very helpful. The tech and Doctor did a great job explaining the process of what to expect and do. Once at the retail side Karen M. helped me, she was fantastic, friendly and patient with my twins asking her tons of questions. She shared my options with me and answered all my questions. My glasses are to be ready in 2 days can’t wait!
