Who is an optometrist and what does he or she do?
Optometry is a branch of ophthalmology that specializes in methods of correcting vision using optometric aids. An optometrist is a specialist who determines the degree of vision impairment and prescribes corrective aids such as glasses and contact lenses.
What is the difference between an ophthalmologist and an optometrist?
What is the difference between the profession of an optometrist and an ophthalmologist? An optometrist only provides initial diagnosis and can only treat refractive errors with conservative methods.

Why do eyeglasses cost so much?
Eyeglasses are a complex optical device that is manufactured with high-precision equipment. Often expensive materials are used for the glasses. All of this explains why eyeglasses can be expensive.
What should you do before buying glasses?
Let's look at what to look for when buying eyeglasses. The first is, of course, quality. The second is the choice of lenses of glasses. Here we focus attention on the material: they can be either glass or plastic. The third is the choice of frames.
What's the difference between expensive glasses and cheap glasses for vision?
The quality and accordingly the price of the lens depends on the presence of coatings on the lenses. The higher the price, the more coatings on the lens. Coatings make our vision more comfortable. Lens manufacturers do not stand still and improve the quality of lenses.
How do I know which glasses fit my face?
It's best if the width of the frame is equal to or slightly larger than the widest part of your face. The upper line of the frames should coincide with the line of eyebrows. Smooth shapes of glasses will emphasize rounded curves of the face. To emphasize high cheekbones choose the "butterfly" or "cat-eye" glasses.
Where can I see better with glasses or contact lenses?
With lenses, you can see better, so it turns out that extra obstacles don't distort the image. Lenses don't shed dust, don't catch glare from the sun and don't distort peripheral vision-no matter where we look, the image stays sharp.

Been waiting on my contacts to arrive for over 9 days. I have been calling the store to inquire about my contact being in, however no one ever answers the phone. I called all day long starting at 11:15am and my last call was at 5:45 pm, no answer. Horrible customer service!

I’ve had my eye exam done here and purchased new glasses here a few times. This review is about my last purchase of new sun glasses. Ordering process, flawless. When I picked up my glasses, I came in, popped the glasses on my face and just made sure I could see out of them. The next day I took a closer look to see that I received previously used frames with just new lenses in it. The frames have buildup and a big scratch on them. My advise is to be vigilant while checking your glasses when picking them up so you don’t have to show up to Costco 4+ times to get new, clean frames. They are ordering me new frames from another supplier, the original frames were out of stock….surprise!

I got a prescription here, took a while to buy contacts but once I did, I feel like my prescription is off, but they told me I’d have to pay for another prescription. It definitely sucks because I just bought a lot of contacts and this is before a year is up. If they made a mistake with my prescription, shouldn’t they fix it?

This is my favorite boutique optical shop and it just happens to be locally-owned and operated. The shop features a wide variety of interesting and flattering frames from brands you won’t find at the big eyecare chains. After purchasing eyewear here for three years, I’ve had nothing but quality experiences and great service from Brian and Dr. Angela. Bonus: their prices are decent, too.

What can I say the whole crew was wonderful from the nice ladies greeting me helping me find lenses to Ernest who went above and beyond and a wonderful optometrist. They even found my insurance carrier I wasn’t sure I had for optical and saved me hundreds of dollars. They are going to go long and fire in the optical business and I highly recommend them I am an actual customer
