Who is an optometrist and what does he or she do?
Optometry is a branch of ophthalmology that specializes in methods of correcting vision using optometric aids. An optometrist is a specialist who determines the degree of vision impairment and prescribes corrective aids such as glasses and contact lenses.

Why do eyeglasses cost so much?
Eyeglasses are a complex optical device that is manufactured with high-precision equipment. Often expensive materials are used for the glasses. All of this explains why eyeglasses can be expensive.
What should you do before buying glasses?
Let's look at what to look for when buying eyeglasses. The first is, of course, quality. The second is the choice of lenses of glasses. Here we focus attention on the material: they can be either glass or plastic. The third is the choice of frames.
What's the difference between expensive glasses and cheap glasses for vision?
The quality and accordingly the price of the lens depends on the presence of coatings on the lenses. The higher the price, the more coatings on the lens. Coatings make our vision more comfortable. Lens manufacturers do not stand still and improve the quality of lenses.
How do I know which glasses fit my face?
It's best if the width of the frame is equal to or slightly larger than the widest part of your face. The upper line of the frames should coincide with the line of eyebrows. Smooth shapes of glasses will emphasize rounded curves of the face. To emphasize high cheekbones choose the "butterfly" or "cat-eye" glasses.
Where can I see better with glasses or contact lenses?
With lenses, you can see better, so it turns out that extra obstacles don't distort the image. Lenses don't shed dust, don't catch glare from the sun and don't distort peripheral vision-no matter where we look, the image stays sharp.

Seeing appointment online was quick and easy. I ended up being a few moments later so I called to let them know and they were great about it. Got there and they were very busy but got with me quickly. Dr answered all my questions and expressed his concern being 11 yrs since last eye Dr visit and in turn expressed I couldn't do certain things today but could I return and he was great about it. So answered other questions I had. Picked my frames for with a sweet girl who quickly helped me through the check out process and I was on my way. Over all VERY PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE I RECEIVED!

When I took myself and children in to get glasses earlier this year, I went to visionworks. I wish I never did. Their GM Donna and the purple hair receptionist are horrible unprofessional and liars. I was introduced to a product they Donna was attempting to sell to me because they like to add all these extra stating that you need them or if something happens to them it would be covered their glasses are broke or scratched then you pay $30.00 and they will replace them. I purchased it for all three of my family members. She must have assumed I didn't have the glasses this was a lie on her part. This rep is part of a larger problem of outright lies to the consumer with rising costs the sales people are rude, unprofessional and a pack of liars and thieves I'm glad I didn't get their other fake products because they lie to customers and don't stand up for their products especially when I brought in in the reciepts. They are liars that steal your money. Just another chain of greedy lying reps. Try America's best or a different place. It's far time that the consumer does not put up with this garbage.

The entire staff at Professional Eyecare was outstanding. They provide excellent customer care. I didn’t feel rushed through my appointment or when I was choosing my frames. I have been back to get an adjustment and received the same great service.

Since Vision Works of Casa Grande won't warn you, I will. Don't bother confirming your appointment via text message, this facility will cancel it if you don't answer their "phone calls." I missed the only phone call placed and the appointment that was confirmed over text message was cancelled. They claim they are not the ones sending out the text messages. Then who is sending text message to our phones? Absolutely Ridiculous! This location is lucky for this pathetic one star.
