Eye exams is a procedure to evaluate the functions of the eye that provide normal vision. Namely, how the size, shape, and color of objects are perceived, as well as their location relative to each other. Eye exams are necessary for the timely detection of abnormalities and successful correction. Eye exams include accurate determination of the patient's visual acuity and refraction, intraocular pressure measurements, microscopic examination of the eye (biomicroscopy), pachymetry (corneal thickness measurement), echobiometry (eye length determination), ultrasound eye examination (B-scan), computer keratotopography and thorough retinal (eye fundus) examination with a wide pupil, tear production level determination and detailed visual field examination of the patient. Various methods are used to test vision, the results of which allow the doctor to identify abnormalities and prescribe a correction.

Extremely friendly and kind service: fixed a hinge/screw problem on my sunglasses (both pairs that I had with me!) in three minutes flat, and at what I can only say was an extremely fair rate, too. I VERY highly recommend them, and it's always best to support your neighborhood shop whenever possible. Don't hesitate to go to iiis; they will treat you right.

I bought my glass some where else. And had to get them repaired! I popped in and the staff greeted me pleasantly and were able to fix my glass in a few minutes ( I was missing a screw). Also of no charge. Will definitely come back when these glasses get worn out. Thanks again 5/5

From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed! Robin helped me with my insurance verification. She approached me with tact and grace. She made me feel comfortable and confidently helped me find out who my employer used for vision. Dr. Chaney was very knowledgeable and informative. She gave me great insight on my vision in relation to my medical conditions. She also let me in on some cool facts about vision and makeup! Angie and Linsey just knew me! They picked the perfect frames for me while I was back with the Dr. Everyone was very personable, friendly, and professional! I will be back!
